Sandringham is where the late Queen Elizabeth hosted Christmas with the rest of her family, as last year marked the first time the festivities were presided over by Charles.

She would traditionally return to London after the anniversary of the death of her father King George VI on February 6.

The King has recently added an environmentally-friendly topiary garden to the property, which is open to the public for most of the year.

The royals will likely make their return to Balmoral in December, but for now they are enjoying their summer holiday at Balmoral in Scotland.

Most of the family have joined Charles and Queen Camilla at the Scottish estate, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Anne.

Even Prince Andrew has been seen attending church with the family near Balmoral, after he was stripped of his military titles and royal patronages and forced to quit as a working royal.

According to sources the King is welcoming his disgraced younger brother back into the family fold, with one source revealing: "It’s more than he (Andrew) could have wished for."

One royal source told The Telegraph following the family holiday at Balmoral: "Safe to say it's a holiday where the entire family has been invited, the entire family are participating and the entire family are included.

"Anyone looking for a family divided angle will be sorely disappointed."
