Prince Harry has been slammed for not wearing his Coronation medal as critics claim it's a "direct snub to the King".

The Duke of Sussex was pictured smiling and waving as he arrived at St Paul's Cathedral on Wednesday to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Wearing a black suit, he showcased the Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (KCVO) medal around his neck with an additional four pinned onto his blazer.

One of these included the Operational Service Medal for Afghanistan which he was awarded in 2008 after his service in Helmand Province, as well as the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal, and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal.

But eagle-eyed royal fans were quick to notice there was one missing, with his Coronation medal nowhere to be seen.

The medal was given to Harry and others involved in the King's ceremony last May.

One person wrote on social media platform X: "Prince Harry's deliberate choice not to wear his Coronation medal at the St. Paul’s ceremony was a direct snub to the King and another display of his pettiness. Considering the occasion's connection to @WeAreInvictus, he should have shown more respect."

It's the second time Harry has opted not to wear the medal, with it also absent last month when he was seen handing out an award to an American soldier.

At the time, royal experts claimed it was a snub to his father after he was banned from wearing military dress to the Coronation after stepping down from his role as a senior working royal.

He was one of 400,000 people to have received the medal. A second person wrote: "He got one, he’s using the excuse 'the ribbon is too long and needs to be altered'. I think a whole year is ample time to do that, don’t you?"

A third added: "He didn’t pledge allegiance or his loyalty to King Charles during the Coronation only William did. He is making a statement he is still disloyal in word and deed to his father - after four years of anti-royal attacks the King needs to be careful of his treacherous son and his wife."

Harry flew to the UK last May to make an appearance at the historic Coronation to support his father.

A source claimed Harry opted not to wear the Coronation medal while presenting the 'Soldier of the Year' award as it needed a "longer ribbon".

Reports claimed this would be to "stop it from swinging around" when it is worn.
