Eurovision star Olly Alexander dealt crushing blow weeks before contest
Olly Alexander is set to represent the UK in the final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest on May 11.

Olly was announced as the UK's representative with great fanfare during an episode of Strictly Come Dancing in December.
He was ostensibly on the programme to read out the terms and conditions for the phone lines when he made the announcement.
“I can exclusively reveal, I will be representing the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest next year!" he exclaimed grinning from ear to ear. The studio audience could be heard cheering as the celebrities and professionals all congratulated him looking delighted.
"On behalf of everyone, we are so lucky to have you. I know you have to keep these things a secret but can you tell me anything?" enquired Claudia.
"Oh, what can I tell you? I'm planning it now, it's gonna be spectacular. I love Eurovision so much, it's a dream come true,” Olly teased.

Olly first came to prominence as the frontman for Years and Years.
He has been nominated for six BRIT awards after releasing his first single, I Wish I Knew with the group in 2012.
The band's most successful single King went straight to number one in the UK in March 2015.
Their debut studio album, Communion, was released in July 2015 and entered the UK Albums Chart at number 1.
The final of the Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcast on BBC One on May 11.
