It's all come down to this. Kyren Wilson and Jak Jones face off over the next two days at the Crucible eyeing a chapter in snooker's history books by claiming glory in the World Championship final.

Wilson sealed his spot with ease in what has proved to be an unlikely final by beating David Gilbert at the semi-final stage, while qualifier Jak Jones overcame Stuart Bingham to put him one match away from the ultimate glory.
Wilson is in his second final at the Crucible, having lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan in 2020 who clinched his sixth world title. Meanwhile, Jones is gearing up for his first final and there will be plenty of nerves between the pair as they battle it out for the £500,000 prize money.

At 40-18 up, a positional error lets Wilson in and he takes advantage with a 60 clearance. After a nervy start, the Englishman goes into the mid-session interval with a six-frame advantage.

Wilson seals his third century of the final to secure a vital frame.
He ends Jones's run of three-straight frames and now has himself on the board for the evening session.
